I’m passionate about using art as a tool for recovery and I offer workshops specifically designed to support individuals struggling with or in recovery from substance use disorder.
These sessions give participants a creative outlet to process their emotions and experiences in a safe, supportive, and non-verbal way, helping them along their journey of healing.
Incorporating art into your rehabilitation centre’s program provides a unique and powerful therapeutic approach.
Art allows participants to express complex emotions and trauma without having to verbalise them, which can be an important complement to more traditional therapies, such as talk or group therapy.
As someone who’s worked closely with people in recovery, I’ve seen how creative expression helps to unlock self-awareness and promote emotional resilience.
Enhancing Treatment Goals
The workshops are crafted to complement your centre’s programs, offering participants new ways to engage with their recovery.
Encouraging Emotional Exploration
Participants are invited to explore their feelings and thoughts through art, offering them an emotional outlet that doesn’t require verbalization.
Building Emotional Resilience
Art helps participants cultivate strength in handling emotions and challenges they may not have been able to process before.
Improving Cognitive Function
Creative activities can aid in restoring cognitive and sensory-motor skills that may have been affected by addiction.
Boosting Self-Esteem and Self-Awareness
Engaging in creative processes promotes greater self-esteem and helps participants gain valuable insights into their own recovery journey.
Adding Fun to the Recovery Process
I aim to bring joy and playfulness into the process, allowing participants to reconnect with the pleasure of creation.

As a one-woman show, I’m deeply committed to every workshop I facilitate. I created Time to Shine Art Workshops to combine my love for art and my passion for recovery.
I believe that recovery looks different for everyone, and these workshops offer a holistic approach to support participants in any stage of their healing journey.
Creativity can be a key element in helping people reclaim their lives.
I am currently running workshops at two rehabilitation centres in Cairns, QLD, and I’m eager to bring this valuable experience to more organisations looking for ways to deepen their support of participants.
I’m excited about the possibility of expanding the reach of these transformative workshops. So, if you’re looking for a creative, therapeutic element to enhance your programs, I’d love to talk about how I can bring Time to Shine Art Workshops to your centre.
For more information or to discuss pricing and availability, please feel free to reach out to me directly at [email protected]
While I primarily run Time to Shine Art Workshops at rehabilitation centres, I also offer the opportunity for individuals in recovery to participate in private or small group sessions.
Whether you’re early in your recovery or further along in your journey, these workshops provide a safe, creative space to explore your emotions, reignite your creativity, and support your healing.
If you’re interested in experiencing the transformative power of art for your personal recovery journey, feel free to reach out for more information about individual or small group sessions.
Let’s work together to help you reconnect with your creativity and support your ongoing growth.
In addition to the workshops I’m currently running at rehabilitation centres, I’m also available to offer Time to Shine Art Workshops to other community groups, programs, or organisations.
Whether you're looking for a one-off workshop or an ongoing series, I can tailor the sessions to fit the specific needs of your group or program.
If you think this creative, healing experience could benefit the individuals you work with, I’d love to chat and explore how we can integrate these workshops into your program.
